»Florakel« ist ein Ansatz, der dem Menschen dabei helfen soll ihre Pflanzen bewusster zu pflegen. Drei wichtige Aspekte wurden hier aufgegriffen, die dabei behilflich sein sollen. Der Topf zeigt über verschiedene Beleuchtungen an, was der Pflanze gerade fehlt. Blau steht für den Wasserstand, Gelb für das vorhandene Licht und Rot für die Temperatur. Leuchtet der Topf also in rosa, geht es der Pflanze gut (Rot leuchtet: es ist warm genug; Gelb leuchtet nicht: es ist ausreichend Licht vorhanden; Blau leuchtet: es befindet sich genug Wasser im Topf). Bei meinem Prototyp wird die Temperatur mit Hilfe eines Drehpotentiometers gesteuert. Zum „Gießen“ befindet sich ein Neigungsschalter in der Gießkanne und das Licht wird mit Hilfe eines Fotowiderstand gemessen. Die Sensoren sind mit einem Arduino Board verbunden und leiten die gemessenen Werte an, sich unter dem Topf befindende, RGB LEDs weiter.
” Florakel “is a beginning, to help people to understand their plants. Three important aspects were taken up here, which should be helpful. The pot shows over different lighting, what is missing to the plant. Blue stands for the water level, yellow for the existing light and red for the temperature. If the pot shines in pink, everything is fine (red shines: it is warmly enough; yellow does not shine: it is not enough light available; blue shines: enough water is in the pot). With my prototype the temperature is steered with the help of a potentiometer. For „pouring“ is an inclination sensor in the watering can and the light are measured with the help of a photoresistor. The sensors are connected with an Arduino board, which pass the measured values on RGB LED.
